The lighthouse stands a lonely vigil on the rugged coastline, beaming its light outward to alert us of impending danger and also to guide us home. We should all be so blessed to have a light like that in our daily lives to warn us and lead us through the many storms of life, even when the the waters are calm and the skies are a brilliant array of colors and all seems right with the world.(This picture of Heceta Head Lighthouse on the Oregon coast
