My Favorite Things

Some things for March that I am thankful for!

• My wife and daughter - just because!
• Spring training in full swing
• Volatile weather - wind, rain, sleet, hail, snow and sun?
• Tantalizing moments of the warmth to come
• The first bulbs sprouting
• The NCAA Basketball tournament
• Dialing in the legs on long bicycle rides

My favorite list of seven things that I am thankful for in the month of February!

• Valentines Day!
• The day I got engaged to my beautiful wife! (see above)
• The first hints of spring!
• Pitchers & Catchers report to spring training!
• Doing artwork and creating new designs!
  
• Making plans for spring & summer but living today!
• Usually the first good outdoor rides of the year!

A new month and a new year! Listed below are my seven favorite things for the month of January, in no particular order:

• The love and joy of spending another year with my beautiful wife
• The laughter and surprises of watching my daughter grow
• The memories of things accomplished, shared and lives touched
• A good book or movie on a windy rainy winters night
  
• The beginning of a new PBR season
  
• The beginning of a new year of cycling (gotta start riding!)
• The endless opportunities that are ahead

Here is the list of my seven favorite things for the month of December. Again, in on particular order except for number one, this time! Limiting yourself to only seven things really makes you think hard about what you truly value, among the many blessings we all have to be thankful for.

• The birth of my savior, Jesus Christ
• The smiles of children at the lights and decorations
• Christmas music (year round! )
• Fudge - Chocolate and Peanut Butter
• College Football Bowl Games
• Quiet moments within candlelight
• Peace, joy, love and the hope!

• My Daughters Birthday - number 4!!!!
• Thanksgiving & a grateful heart
• Smell of wood smoke on a chilly evening
• Turkey and all the trimmings

• The changing colors of leaves on the trees
