The Face?

During an evening walk with my daughter I was taking pictures of the sunset in a forest in Western Washington.  Upon returning home and editing the pictures for uploading I noticed something peculiar.  The sun appears to be perched on the top of the wooden stump but just to the lower left of the sun there appears to be a face peering out from in the leaves of the trees?

The first picture is the original with no editing except for a drop shadow border.
This picture below highlights the area where the face seems to appear with the rest of the surrounding area blurred out.
What do you think?  Was something staring at us from the forest?

Dark Horses

Switchfoot - Dark Horses
(acoustic version from the album Vice Verses)

Yeah I made my mistakes, I seen my heart cave in I got my scars, I been to hell and back again Born for the blue skies, We'll survive the rain born for the sunrise, We'll survive the pain

[Chorus:]

We’re singing… Hey, you can’t count us out We’ve been running up against the crowd Yeah, we are the dark horses We’re singing… Wait! It’s not over now We’ve been down but we’ve never been out Yeah, we are the dark horses

We found the way out, The city takes everything it can But outside the crowds, I can feel my lungs again Born for the blue skies, We'll survive the rain Born for the sunrise, We'll survive the pain

[Chorus]

We're singing La la la la la la la La la la la la la la. Yeah! Born for the blue skies Born for the blue skies Born for the sunrise We’ll survive the pain

[Chorus:]

We’re singing… Hey, you can’t count us out We’ve been running up against the crowd Yeah, we are the dark horses We’re singing… Wait, don’t care what they say We know we’ll find a way Yeah! We are the dark horses Yeah! Laa la-la-la-la-laa Laa la-la-la-la-laa &

[Faded Voice:]

Keep running with the dark horses Hope makes the blood change courses Keep running with the dark horses Stand up with the dark horses Keep running with the dark horses Hope makes the blood change courses

There can be terrible dangers and evil, but also beauty and light.  I often feel like a dark horse in a world of light horses, but I always have hope and wish to dispense at least a little of that hope to others. God Bless ~M)

Dreams...haunted by midnight visions

Standing in the shadows seized in holy terror

"The Moon"    Photograph ©Maleko 2012
I see you lay willingly in ecstasy's embrace

From my scorched lungs my breath is squeezed

As the sand shifts slowly beneath my feet

Eagerly swallowing the drink of sweet poisoned lies

Moonlight glistens the sweat droplets on your skin

Endless echos of the past roll into a future lost

You are a million miles distant an arms length away

Trembling shaking hands reach out burdened by fear

Through the air streaming tears fall as passion rises

Love's promise all but undone the world is crashing

The sun fell plotting out the death of my heart

Left alone eternity beckons as a cold and lonely place
