He knows ...

"Santa's Watching"       Watercolors       Border & text added with Paint Shop Pro

Maleko ©2011

A whimsical watercolor painting of Santa Claus peering through a frosted window.  He is always watching and knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake.

Reminds me of Jesus who is always watching us.  He sees and He knows, but we do not have to earn gifts from Him.  Jesus freely gives to those who chose to believe in Him.  His promises are sure, His love and mercy endures and He gives us the greatest gift, eternal life.

Busily working on new designs for the 2010Christmas season.  These three were done using colored pencils and pastels.  The black and blue borders were added to the Santa designs Paint Shop Pro.

These designs and many others will soon be available on holiday greeting cards, mugs, t-shirts and many other types of gifts on ours website on Cafepress - http://www.cafepress.com/malekoarts

Santa and his shadow?

A sharpie drawing of Santa Claus using simple outlines of shapes to portray an image that has been endlessly done in so many ways. Always looking for new variations and new ways of seeing what we often take for granted because it has been viewed so many times.

The second image is a digital 'negative' using paint shop pro. I am fascinated by the colors on a black background. It makes for some very interesting and unusual images.
