Life Never Repeats - Variations On A Theme!

They say that the same thing never comes around in the same way twice and I believe that.  I enjoy taking a design and using different colors and mediums to create a unique and different version of the original idea, variations on a theme!

Working out the Differences - Christmas Ideas 2010!!!

Three different versions for possible Christmas designs, 

currently working on for this year 2010.  These are the 

preliminary drawings using sharpie markers and photo shop

finished. Hope to enlarge these ideas into full scale

The Window to the Soul, Horse Eyes!

Three quick sketch, horse designs using sharpie markers each measuring approximately 2x3 inches. 

These are simple designs attempting to emphasize the eyes of the horses and using the mane to play off of.  Also a simplified outline of the horses head, focuses your attention on the eye.

The window to the soul or not only for humans but animals as well?

We 3 Trees!

Santa and his shadow?

A sharpie drawing of Santa Claus using simple outlines of shapes to portray an image that has been endlessly done in so many ways. Always looking for new variations and new ways of seeing what we often take for granted because it has been viewed so many times.

The second image is a digital 'negative' using paint shop pro. I am fascinated by the colors on a black background. It makes for some very interesting and unusual images.
